December 10 and 11, 2007, Seattle and Tacoma, Wash. ~
For the past two days I've spent a little time doing absolutely nothing.
Now, the definition of "nothing" to me means that I'm not productive. So, between coffee shop hopping and picture making, here's a little glimpse of my "nothing"...
Actually, we've bought a couple new toys in recent weeks. My favorite would have to be the lensbaby 2.0... wow.
The other day Joe and I went to Manito Park to capture the beauty of the season's first snowfall. I tried out the lensbaby at Duncan Gardens, at coffee, and in the conservatory.
Nearly three times a week, I slip away to The Davenport Hotel for an afternoon coffee break. Today, while waiting for Joe to meet me, I sat down in one of the large, plush chairs to wait and gather my thoughts. I noticed a small bud vase and brilliant red flower sitting in the middle of the coffee table... I had to make a picture.
Last weekend Joe and I drove to south-eastern Oregon to photograph Kevin and Owyhee's wedding atop Steens mountain at sunrise. We had a blast making friends and photos... my favorites are here:

I really wanted to work on a multimedia project during my Saturday shift this past weekend. Really, I did. Fortunately, I work with great people like Colin Mulvany and Dan Pelle who trust me implicitly with such tasks and allowed me to take a stab at the Motorcycle Demolition Derby.
The completed project can be scene here: http://www.spokesmanreview.com/blogs/video/play.asp?file=091507_demo_derby_sr&filetype=swf
